This course is essential in developing your workplace health and safety capacity. It has been contextualised to meet the immediate need for workers in a variety of roles to upskill in infection control.
This unit applies to individuals working primarily in health and direct client care contexts; as well as individuals working in a broad range of industries. Please note this course has assessment requirements that must be completed in a workplace. If you are not able to access a workplace for the practical assessments, you will not be able to successfully complete this unit of competency.

Learners must have the necessary language, literacy and numeracy skills to interpret and apply relevant information to commence learning in this program.
